Why we picked it

When winter roads turn serious, these self-tightening chains are the difference between going and staying: the Auto-Trac system centers and tightens as you drive, so there's no stopping to re-adjust in the snow. A must-pack for mountain passes and ski-weekend highways.

Highlights

• Self-tightening design, no roadside re-adjusting
• Diamond-pattern traction for snow and ice
• Faster install than conventional chains
• Built for passenger cars on winter roads
